Sự kiện Bồ tát Đản Sanh trong Kinh tạng Pāli (Tỳ khưu Samādhipuñño Định Phúc)

Đề cập đến sự ra đời của một vị Bồ tát Chánh Đẳng Chánh Giác, Đức Phật đã dạy rằng: Một người, này các Tỳ kheo, khi xuất hiện ở đời, sự xuất hiện đem lại hạnh phúc cho đa số, an lạc cho đa số, vì lòng thương tưởng cho đời, vì lợi ích, vì hạnh phúc, vì an lạc cho chư Thiên và loài người.

Theo truyền thống của Phật giáo Nam truyền Theravāda, ngày trăng tròn tháng Tư âm lịch là ngày kỷ niệm ba sự kiện: Bồ tát Đản sanh, Bồ tát Thành đạo và Đức Phật viên tịch Niết-bàn. Ba sự kiện trọng đại trải trong quãng mấy mươi năm nhưng xảy ra đều trùng hợp vào đêm Rằm tháng Tư, đúng theo ý nguyện của Đức Phật Gotama. Vì vậy, tất cả Phật tử, từ những bậc xuất gia đến các hàng tại gia cư sĩ trên toàn thế giới, đều lấy đêm Rằm tháng Tư làm ngày lễ cúng dường Đức Phật, gọi là: Vesākhapūjā.

SỰ RA ĐỜI CỦA VỊ BỒ TÁT CHÁNH ĐẲNG CHÁNH GIÁC 

Đề cập đến sự ra đời của một vị Bồ tát Chánh Đẳng Chánh Giác, Đức Phật đã dạy rằng: Một người, này các Tỳ kheo, khi xuất hiện ở đời, sự xuất hiện đem lại hạnh phúc cho đa số, an lạc cho đa số, vì lòng thương tưởng cho đời, vì lợi ích, vì hạnh phúc, vì an lạc cho chư Thiên và loài người. Một người ấy là ai? Chính là Thế Tôn, bậc A-la-hán, Chánh Ðẳng Giác. Chính một người này, này các Tỳ kheo, khi xuất hiện ở đời, sự xuất hiện đem lại hạnh phúc cho đa số, an lạc cho đa số, vì lòng thương tưởng cho đời, vì lợi ích, vì hạnh phúc, vì an lạc cho chư Thiên và loài người.

Sự xuất hiện của một người, này các Tỳ kheo, khó gặp được ở đời. Của người nào? Của Như Lai, bậc A-la-hán, Chánh Ðẳng Giác. Sự xuất hiện của một người này, này các Tỳ kheo, khó gặp được ở đời [1].

Ta, bậc Chánh Đẳng Giác

Bậc Tối Thượng Y Vương

Người xuất hiện như vậy

Thế gian thật hiếm thấy [2].

Chính vì Ngài là bậc vĩ đại như thế và khó gặp như thế nên sự kiện ra đời của Ngài cũng trở thành một sự kiện hy hữu, hiếm thấy và rất vi diệu. Không mang hình thức thần thánh và cũng không dính đến vấn đề huyền bí, sự kiện ra đời hay sự Đản sanh của Đức Bồ tát được ghi chép lại qua nhiều bài kinh thuộc hệ tạng Nikāya.

Trong Trường bộ [3], Đức Phật đã giảng về một số phương pháp thông thường khi một vị Đại Bồ tát Đản sanh khác với một phàm phu bình thường, tức loài người chúng ta. Chẳng những Đức Phật Cồ-đàm (Gotama) trong thời hiện tại mà chư Phật trong quá khứ như Đức Phật Tỳ-bà-thi (Vipassī), Đức Phật Thi-khí (Sikhī), Đức Phật Tỳ-xá-bà (Vesabhū), Đức Phật Câu-lưu-tôn (Kakusandha), Đức Phật Câu-na-hàm (Konāgamana), Đức Phật Ca-diếp (Kassapa)… cũng có một số hiện tượng siêu xuất giống nhau khi các Ngài vừa Giáng sanh ra khỏi bào thai của thân mẫu. Sự Đản sanh của chư Phật đều giống nhau như sự xuất hiện của các Ngài giữa thế gian này đã cảm ứng đến thế giới chư thiên và các loài khác; các Ngài đều giáng sanh dưới gốc cây giữa thiên nhiên bao la; các Ngài đều từ hông mẹ bước ra và tuyên bố các Ngài là bậc tối thượng trong tam giới; các Ngài đều có hảo tướng với 32 tướng tốt và 80 tướng phụ và thông điệp của các Ngài ở đời là cứu khổ cho chúng sanh. Đức Phật diễn tả cụ thể phương pháp Đản sanh của chư Phật trong quá khứ và hiện tại qua hình ảnh đầy màu sắc của Bồ tát Tỳ-bà-thi và thân mẫu của Ngài.

Phần Nidānakathā [4] (Thuyết Duyên Luận) mở đầu của chú giải chuyện tiền thân được xem như là một bản văn đề cập khá chi tiết về lịch sử cuộc đời Đức Phật trong hệ thống Tam tạng kinh điển Pāli. Văn bản ghi lại rằng: Hoàng hậu Mahāmāyā ngự đến một cây Sālā có thân to, đầy hoa đang nở rộ. Khi đứng đưa cánh tay phải lên, thì cành cây tự nhiên sà xuống, bà đưa tay nắm lấy cành cây với tư thế dáng đứng rất đẹp và rất vững vàng. Liền lúc ấy, Hoàng hậu trở dạ, các cung nữ lập tức che màn xung quanh nơi đang đứng [5]. Lúc ấy, Đức Bồ tát cao quý ra đời một cách nhẹ nhàng, thảnh thơi với bàn chân phải bước xuống trước, ví như một vị pháp sư rời khỏi pháp tòa. Đó là ngày thứ sáu, ngày trăng tròn tháng Vesākha (nhằm ngày Rằm tháng Tư) năm 623 TCN, đúng mười tháng thụ thai trong lòng mẹ.

Ngay khi ấy, mười ngàn thế giới rung chuyển. Chư Thiên và Phạm thiên đồng thanh reo mừng và tung rải những nắm hoa trời, tất cả các loại nhạc khí đều tự nhiên phát ra những âm thanh kỳ diệu. Toàn thể thế giới trở nên thông thấu, trong suốt, khắp các hướng mà không bị ngăn ngại. Tất cả ba mươi hai hiện tượng kỳ diệu đồng loạt xảy ra để báo hiệu sự Đản sanh của Bồ tát. Khi vị Bồ tát từ bụng mẹ sanh ra, khi ấy một hào quang vô lượng thần diệu, thắng xa oai lực của chư Thiên hiện ra cùng khắp thế giới, gồm có các thế giới trên chư Thiên, thế giới của các ma vương, Phạm thiên và thế giới ở dưới gồm các vị Sa-môn, Bà-la-môn, các vị hoàng tử và dân chúng. Cho đến các cảnh giới ở giữa các thế giới, không có nền tảng, tối tăm, u ám, những cảnh giới mà mặt trăng, mặt trời với đại thần lực, đại oai đức như vậy cũng không thể chiếu thấu, trong những cảnh giới ấy, một hào quang vô lượng, thắng xa oai lực của chư Thiên hiện ra. Và các chúng sanh sống tại những chỗ ấy, nhờ hào quang ấy mới thấy nhau mà nói: “Cũng có những chúng sanh khác sống ở đây”. Và mười ngàn thế giới chuyển động, rung động, chuyển động mạnh. Và hào quang vô lượng thần diệu ấy thắng xa oai lực của chư Thiên hiện ra ở thế giới [6].

Lúc Bồ tát Đản sanh, có hai cột nước thuần khiết ấm và mát từ trên hư không đổ xuống thân của Bồ tát và mẹ của Ngài như là một dấu hiệu tôn kính. Khi vị Bồ tát từ bụng mẹ sanh ra, Ngài sanh ra thanh tịnh, không bị nhiễm ô bởi nước nhớt nào, không bị nhiễm ô bởi loại mủ nào, không bị nhiễm ô bởi loại máu nào, không bị nhiễm ô bởi bất cứ sự vật bất tịnh nào, thanh tịnh, trong sạch. Khi vị Bồ tát từ bụng mẹ sanh ra, hai dòng nước từ hư không hiện ra, một dòng lạnh, một dòng nóng. Hai dòng nước ấy tắm rửa sạch sẽ cho vị Bồ tát và cho bà mẹ [7].

Bốn vị đại Phạm thiên, những bậc đã xa lìa phiền não dục, đầu tiên đón nhận Bồ tát trong một tấm lưới vàng vào lúc Ngài sanh ra. Rồi họ đặt Ngài trước mặt người mẹ và nói rằng: “Hoàng hậu hãy hoan hỷ. Hoàng hậu sanh một bậc vĩ nhân” [8]. Tiếp theo, bốn vị thiên vương đón nhận Bồ tát từ tay của bốn vị Phạm thiên bằng tấm da màu đen của con sơn dương, được xem là vật may mắn. Lại nữa, các cung nữ tiếp nhận Bồ tát từ tay của bốn vị thiên vương bằng tấm vải trắng.

Khi rời khỏi tay của các cung nữ, vị Bồ tát bước đi bảy bước trên mặt đất, bắt đầu bằng chân phải, rồi Ngài dừng lại, nhìn về các hướng và cuối cùng Ngài dừng lại ở hướng Bắc rồi thốt lên câu kệ [9]:

Ta là bậc tối thượng ở trên đời.

Ta là bậc tối tôn ở trên đời.

Ta là bậc cao nhất ở trên đời.

Nay là đời sống cuối cùng,

Không còn phải tái sanh ở đời này nữa [10].

Theo truyền thống kể lại, điểm đặc biệt cần quan tâm là Ngài thực sự bước đi trên đất, nhưng loài người thì trông thấy Ngài đang lướt đi trên hư không. Bồ tát bước đi với tấm thân trần của một đứa bé mới sanh, nhưng loài người thì thấy Ngài bước đi với y phục đầy đủ. Bồ tát bước đi với hình hài của một đứa bé mới sanh, nhưng loài người lại trông thấy Ngài qua một chàng thanh niên tuấn tú ở tuổi mười sáu [11].

Vua của các Phạm thiên theo hầu Ngài với tay cầm chiếc lọng trắng khi Ngài bước đi. Lại có vị chư Thiên chúa tể cõi Suyāma theo hầu tay cầm cái phất trần bằng lông đuôi của con bò Tây Tạng. Còn các vị khác thì tay cầm những biểu tượng của vua như đôi hia, bảo kiếm và vương miện là những bảo vật của lễ phong vương theo hầu Bồ tát. Nhân loại lúc ấy không thể trông thấy các vị chư Thiên này, họ chỉ có thể trông thấy các biểu tượng của vua mà thôi.

Theo bản chú giải, các sự kiện khi Đức Bồ tát Đản sanh được cô đọng ý nghĩa và được giải thích như sau: Bốn vị Phạm thiên đến tiếp rước chỉ rằng Ngài sẽ đắc được tứ thiền vô sắc. Rồi đến nhóm cung nữ tiếp rước, là chỉ dấu Ngài sẽ đắc thiền hữu sắc. Hành động đứng trên mặt đất là ngụ ý Ngài đắc được bốn phép nguyện vọng pháp mầu. Ngài đi bảy bước là hiện tượng sau này Ngài đắc được Thất-bồ-đề-phần và truyền bá Phật giáo khắp xứ lớn trong thời kỳ ấy. Ngài được chư Thiên che lọng là hiện tượng sau này Ngài đắc được phép giải thoát. Có chư Thiên cầm năm món đồ của vị Chuyển Luân Vương theo hầu Ngài là hiện tượng sau này Ngài đắc được năm phép giải thoát. Và cuối cùng câu kệ Ngài thốt lên là báo trước Ngài sẽ vượt thoát khỏi luân hồi.

Nơi vườn Lumbini, đạo sĩ Asita hay còn được gọi là Kāḷadevila, là vị quốc sư, vị thầy khả kính của đức vua Suddhodana nghe được tiếng hò vang, reo mừng của chư Thiên khắp nơi, Ngài thấy những chư Thiên hân hoan ca tụng, tán dương những ân đức của Bồ tát nên liền hỏi thăm nhân duyên thế nào.

Vì sao chúng chư Thiên

Lại nhiệt tình hoan hỷ?

Họ cầm áo vui múa,

Là do nhân duyên gì?

Các chư Thiên trả lời như sau:

Tại xứ Lumbini (Lâm-tì-ni)

Trong làng các Thích-ca,

Có sanh vị Bồ tát,

Báu tối thắng, vô tỷ,

Ngài sanh, đem an lạc,

Hạnh phúc cho loài người,

Do vậy chúng tôi mừng,

Tâm vô cùng hoan hỷ.

Ngài, chúng sanh tối thượng,

Ngài loài Người tối thắng,

Bậc Ngưu vương loài người,

Thượng thủ mọi sanh loại;

Ngài sẽ chuyển Pháp Luân,

Trong khu rừng ẩn sĩ,

Rống tiếng rống sư tử,

Hùng mạnh nhiếp loài thú [12].

Sau khi nghe chư Thiên trả lời như vậy, đạo sĩ Asita từ cõi trời Tam thập tam đến thẳng hoàng cung để gặp đức vua Suddhodana. Vua Suddhodana hân hoan tiếp rước rất chu đáo và mời Ngài ngồi tại một chỗ trang trọng. An vị xong, đạo sĩ liền hỏi đức vua:

– Thưa đại vương, nghe rằng Hoàng hậu của đại vương vừa hạ sanh được một hoàng nam phải chăng?

– Bạch Ngài, đúng là như thế.

– Thưa đại vương, chẳng hay Thái tử đang ở đâu? Có thể cho tôi diện kiến qua được không?

Đức vua truyền lệnh cho người bồng Thái tử ra tỏ lòng tôn kính đối với quốc sư. Khi Thái tử được bồng ra để ra mắt vị đạo sĩ, trên không trung, chư Thiên cầm lọng trắng, phất trần, quạt để tỏ lòng tôn kính với vị Bồ tát, nhưng tất cả những sự kiện này không có một người nào thấy được, ngoại trừ vị quốc sư trưởng lão.

Chư Thiên cầm ngôi lọng,

Ðưa lên giữa hư không,

Cây lọng có nhiều cành,

Có hàng ngàn vòng chuyền.

Họ quạt với phất trần,

Có tán vàng, lông thú,

Nhưng không ai thấy được,

Kẻ cầm lọng, phất trần [13].

Khi Thái tử được đưa ra trước mặt đạo sĩ, chân của Thái tử chợt xoay lên, đạp trên búi tóc của đạo sĩ một cách nhanh chóng, như là tia chớp xẹt qua những đám mây. Mọi người đều kinh hoảng vì không một ai dám xúc phạm đến vị quốc sư khả kính của đức vua. Nhưng ngược lại, đạo sĩ Asita đã đứng dậy, rời khỏi chỗ ngồi và chấp tay đảnh lễ Đức Bồ tát một cách tôn kính [14]. Đức vua Suddhodana chứng kiện sự kiện vô cùng phi thường như thế, vua cũng đã chắp tay và cúi mình trước đứa chính con trai của mình [15]. Đây là lần đầu tiên đức vua đảnh lễ Bồ tát.

Với năng lực tu tập của mình, đạo sĩ Asita sau khi xem xét kỹ 32 tướng tốt và 80 vẻ đẹp trên người của Thái tử, đã suy gẫm xem Thái tử sẽ thành ngôi Chánh Đẳng Chánh Giác hay không?

Sau khi thấy Thái tử

Chói sáng như lửa ngọn,

Thanh tịnh như sao Ngưu

Vận hành giữa hư không,

Sáng chiếu như mặt trời

Giữa trời thu, mây tịnh,

Ẩn sĩ tâm hân hoan

Ðược hỷ lạc rộng lớn [16].

Bằng trí tuệ biết rõ tương lai, đạo sĩ thấy rằng Thái tử chắc chắn sẽ thành Phật Chánh Đẳng Giác vô thượng. Ông bật ra tiếng cười trong nỗi vui mừng to lớn.

Thái tử này sẽ chứng

Tối thượng quả Bồ-đề,

Sẽ chuyển bánh xe pháp,

Thấy thanh tịnh tối thắng,

Vì lòng từ thương xót,

Vì hạnh phúc nhiều người,

Và đời sống Phạm hạnh,

Ðược truyền bá rộng rãi [17].

Kinh văn ghi lại những vần kệ của một vị Bà-la-môn tên Sela đã xưng tụng và tán thán Ngài như sau:

Thân trọn đủ chói sáng,

Khéo sanh và đẹp đẽ,

Thế Tôn sắc vàng chói,

Răng trơn, láng, tinh cần.

Đối với người khéo sanh,

Những tướng tốt trang trọng,

Đều có trên thân Ngài,

Tất cả đại nhân tướng.

Mắt sáng, mặt tròn đầy,

Cân đối, thẳng, hoàn mỹ,

Giữa chúng Sa-môn Tăng,

Ngài chói như mặt trời [18].

Như vậy, chúng ta thấy có rất nhiều điềm cát tường và vi diệu hiện ra khi một bậc vĩ nhân Đản sanh. Nếu các Ngài chọn sự nghiệp thế gian thì sẽ trở thành bậc chuyển luân thánh vương, trị vì khắp bốn châu thiên hạ với sự giàu có thịnh vượng, của cải vật chất phong phú, binh hùng tướng mạnh và danh tiếng lẫy lừng mà thế gian mong muốn. Nhưng các Ngài đã từ bỏ các hạnh phúc ngũ dục đó để tìm con đường giải thoát khổ miên viễn cho tất cả chúng sanh, tức là tìm con đường xuất gia học đạo, làm một mẫu mực đạo đức cho thế gian, một bậc thầy của trời người, một bậc tối tôn tối thượng giữa thế gian này. Cho nên sự xuất hiện của các Ngài là một điểm sáng cho nhân loại noi theo, để thoát khỏi cảnh khổ trong sáu đạo. Vì thế, thật may mắn và phước báo cho chúng ta gặp được Tam bảo, và để hôm nay chúng ta có cơ hội chào đón một vĩ nhân, một vị cứu tinh của nhân loại đã ra đời.

Nhân dịp Đại lễ Vesak, chúng ta cùng ôn lại và nghiên cứu những điềm lành tốt đẹp của sự kiện Đức Bồ tát Đản sanh. Thiết nghĩ đó cũng là bài pháp đầy ý nghĩa mà Đức Thế Tôn giảng dạy cho tất cả chúng ta về tinh thần sống của người con Phật, cả xuất gia và tại gia, trong cuộc đời này: Hãy luôn sống vì sự an lạc, vì hạnh phúc của số đông; nếu không làm được vậy thì đừng bao giờ gây nên sự phiền toái, tổn hại cho mình, cho tha nhân, cộng đồng, xã hội và môi trường sinh thái.

Từ đó, chúng ta nỗ lực, tu tập để vượt thoát luân hồi sanh tử, để trọn vẹn đi trên con đường tự giác và giác tha.

    В итоге можно сказать следующее: Каждый из четырех типов в Дизайне Человека имеет свои индивидуальные особенности, которые помогают им максимально эффективно взаимодействовать с миром. Понимание своего типа и его практического предназначения позволяет лучше организовать жизнь, выбрать правильные направления для работы и улучшить качество личных отношений.
